I’m her, right down to her gift for gab, something that Shelby McGann was never gifted with. I am in Vandergelder’s Hay and Feed. The train station. Molloy’s Millinery. Harmonia Gardens. It is not the scuffed wooden stage at East High School, with its dusty red velvet curtain and 800 seat house…”
